An event organised by IG Spur 1 Mittelrhein
For the tenth time, the members of IG Spur 1 Mittelrhein set up their impressive 1:32 scale modular layout in the vehicle hall of the museum in Koblenz-Lützel. Measuring 45 m x 6 m and with a track length of around 320 m, it offers the locomotives and wagons of the members and guest drivers plenty of room to run and the visitors to the event plenty to see. Whether it's the stations with their realistic design or the track modules with their many loving details, there's something for everyone here. Although - that's not quite true, because as in previous years, admission is free for all visitors.
Thomas Montaperti was allowed to be there exclusively for our editorial team on the days before the official launch and has some photos in his luggage. We naturally want to share these with all interested parties. However, as the Märklin Days in Göppingen were on the programme immediately afterwards, we will only present the first pictures today. More will be available here shortly.
We hope you enjoy the pictures and would like to send our heartfelt thanks to IG Spur 1 Mittelrhein and the guest drivers for the time spent together and the many discussions.
