Sounds and their meaning
We already referred to this in Modellbahn-Kurier 59 „Digital 2026“ - the article on digital sounds will follow on our website. We are now making the first section available, which highlights the vehicle-independent sounds as well as the sounds that occur while travelling. It can be read online and downloaded.
The second part contains cross-traction noises. The third part deals with traction-specific acoustics. The fourth part describes operational processes for all three types of traction and shows in which situation the corresponding sound can be used. This provides all interested parties with an orientation for playing close to the prototype.
We will shortly be concluding the series with the last part. Here we show the symbols of various digital control centres and describe the functions behind them.
All parts can be downloaded free of charge. Once the series is complete, we will make all parts available as a single PDF. We hope you enjoy it!
