First brass model from Märklin

The model railway manufacturer from Göppingen has announced a 1:32 scale model with a body made entirely of brass for the first time. The freight locomotive EG 507 (E 70) of the Royal Prussian Railway Administration K.P.E.V. was the first electrically powered locomotive to be used in Prussia.

Märklin is producing the model in four variants. It will be presented for the first time at the manufacturer's stand at the International Gauge 0 and Gauge 1 Days. You can view and download the pictures and the brochure for the special announcement as a PDF here.
