After acquiring the remaining locomotives from the first production run, on the occasion of the then operational shutdown of Spur 01 Modellbahnen, Tom Steiner of BMB/Bee’s Modellbahnen had some locomotives converted into special editions. They not only received a new paint scheme but were also fitted with different lights and smoke deflectors. In a brief online portrait, we will show you two variants of each in pictures, which are available in the BMB online shop.
Heute sind dies die in Grünblau und Rehbraun gehaltene 44 002, die sich damit an die für die internationale Eisenbahntechnische Ausstellung 1924 in Seddin in diesen Farben lackierte 56 2900 anlehnt. Die Zweite ist 44 124, die einen Fotografieranstrich nach Originalbildern erhielt.
