In issue 34, we published a donation appeal for the last steam locomotive in regular service with DB. Now, the responsible association has announced another campaign on the social media platform Instagram.
Together with the working group for the preservation of the monument locomotive e.V., Sparkasse Emden is launching a special fundraising campaign over the holidays. Starting tomorrow, Pentecost Sunday, at 9 am, every donation made towards the refurbishment of the driver's cab, up to a value of €50, will be doubled by the East Frisian financial institution. The bank is making €7,000 available for this purpose. The campaign ends on Whit Monday at 11:59 pm.
