In issue 34, we printed an appeal from the Emden association \u201eArbeitskreis zur Erhaltung der Denkmallok e.V.\u201c in the article \u201e3 x 44s patinated by Becasse\u201c. BMB was already involved at this point in the form of mediation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to bring the association even closer to its goal of raising sufficient funds to refurbish the steam locomotive, a fundraising campaign is now underway. Bee's Modellbahn is auctioning off the original locomotive plate of the 043 903-4 - the locomotive that hauled the last steam locomotive train on the German Federal Railway - on eBay. The proceeds will go 100 per cent to the association and thus to the refurbishment of the locomotive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-midnight-gradient-background has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-e3bee4f676d727519ad35c0b3300908f\" style=\"border-radius:20px\">Background information can be found on pages 94 and 95 of issue 34, on the association's website and in the description of the eBay auction.
