The diesel locomotives of the Wehrmacht
The V36 family was the all-round locomotive for the Federal and Reichsbahn. It was the branch line and small railway rescuer and the prototype of the modern works locomotive on the industrial sidings. In Germany, the V20/V36 is regarded as the first series-built diesel locomotive type with greater power. Internationally, it became the pioneer of diesel hydraulics.
