We have just received the news by e-mail. The Gauge 1 meeting in Speyer has been cancelled by those responsible at the Technik Museum in Speyer. The Winter Model Building Days taking place at the same time are not affected by this. Below you will find the original text.
Dear track 1 friends,
It is not easy for us, but with this message we would like to inform you that the Track 1 meeting originally planned for 15 and 16 November at the Technik Museum Speyer unfortunately cannot take place.
Despite intensive efforts and great commitment, the number of retailer and exhibitor registrations received so far has remained so low that it would not make sense for either visitors or participants to hold the event in the planned form. After careful consideration, we have therefore decided with a heavy heart to cancel the event.
This step is particularly difficult for us, as the International Gauge 1 Meeting had a long tradition at the museum and was not only a fixed date in the calendar for many years, but also a valuable platform for encounters, exchanges and new friendships. We would like to thank all visitors, exhibitors, dealers and clubs for the many wonderful moments and the trust they have placed in us over the years.
We ask for your understanding for this decision and would also like to point out that the parallel event „Winter modelling days“ will take place as planned on Saturday and Sunday, 15 and 16 November 2025.
