(Almost) all blue: the first series model
Together with the 53.00 already presented here with several photos, the 03 1014 in blue livery also arrived at the editorial office. Actually, both should have been on display the weekend before at the Gauge 1 Days in Ebermannstadt. We were able to include a brief introduction with three photos in the magazine shortly before the printing deadline; here are the other photos that were announced.
The involvement of several companies from the gauge 1 sector in this project is unusual - see issue 25, pages 30/31. Two near-production samples of 03 1021 and 03 0059-0 were reported on in issue 30.
The 03 1014 model is the first from series production and is used for final approval, among other things.
