More about the trade fair in Giessen

We agree: it's been a long time since we've experienced a trade fair that was so productive and so successful for us. From late Friday afternoon until the end of the fair on Sunday at 16°° (and beyond), we both had a full programme despite the division of labour. It will probably take some time to discuss and analyse this. If necessary, there will also be an addendum here.

The Dutch 3D printing manufacturer Rail-Kees showed, among other things, several advanced assemblies of the DR-V 100 as well as housings of the „Ferkeltaxi“, the DR rail bus. By early Sunday afternoon, this was no longer on display and we were informed that the V 100 project had been cancelled due to insufficient demand.

KM1 once again had a wide range of current models on display. The new figures were there for the first time, but above all the V 20 as a finished hand model. We hope to be able to present this in the next issue. The SMagTrack system has also been completed in series production for 0 and 1 gauges and a large track oval was built around Hagen von Ortloff's nostalgia layout.

A little away from the gauge 1 hall was the Modellbahntek stand with an extensive programme of wagons, mainly based on Swiss and French models. There were also some DB tank wagons and two locomotives, the Ae 3/5 and the EM 3/3.
