In addition to many models in H0, N and Z scales, the manufacturer also has new vehicles for gauge 1. For observers of the scene, it is nothing new, but still a reason to be happy - Märklin is launching the DHG 500 Ca as an inexpensive model in five variants at €999 each. This makes the locomotive suitable for newcomers and model railway enthusiasts wanting to switch to 1-gauge. As the item numbers have some gaps in the sequence, further variants are probably to be expected.
The Göppingen-based company is also launching the Gl 11 in a new colour and lettering variant. This bears the lettering of Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus A.G., which is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the „Tannenzäpfle“ beer this year. The trolley is available for the RRP of €269.
Märklin will be bringing another 1-gauge museum car to the market in 2026. The G car painted in two colours bears the lettering and logo of the Farndauer company Kleemann Brech- und Siebanlagen and is offered with an MSRP of € 299.
