Klv 12

Here are some more impressions from last weekend and information on model development.

Several well-known experts from the scene are involved in their The train was also used in the respective areas, who were able to familiarise themselves in detail with the prototype in Ebermannstadt and on the route:

Christian Leopoldseder/LeoSoundLab - Sound project

Michiel Stolp/Becasse - Driver figure, loads for the flat wagons

Sascha Thomas - Lifting and turning technology

Thomas Montaperti - lamps, interior design

Tom Steiner - model research, variants etc.

Various journeys were required to make sound recordings under a wide variety of operating situations, including turning manoeuvres. Details were measured and questions about the technical realisation were discussed. And „incidentally“, Tom Steiner agreed with the manufacturer in the Far East that this prototype with the small engine front end would also be realised as a further variant that had not yet been planned.

There are small flat wagons in five versions to match the Klv, also in brass construction. There are two thematically different load inserts for these, which Michiel Stolp developed and is also responsible for the colouring and patination.

The printed brochure with detailed information on all 13 versions, the carriages and the accessories will be available in Giessen.

Fine Models/Breuer tractor

After last year's positive public test, Fine Models is showing hand samples of both versions of the unusual shunting vehicle in Giessen. We will be presenting these in detail in the next issue; the photo shoot has already been arranged.

Another new feature announced is the DB's Ommv 72 type centre self-unloading wagon in five versions each with or without a brakeman's platform.
