On the third weekend of Advent 2025, BMB - Bee's Modellbahn held a Christmas party in Ebermannstadt with friends and business partners. The festive setting was used to hand over the donations from the Gauge 1 Days. Tom Steiner presented the board of Dampfbahn Fränkische Schweiz (DFS) with a symbolic cheque for €11,600.
The total sum is made up of various contributions: €3,600 was donated by all dealers who took part in the Gauge 1 Days, a further €1,000 came from visitors and BMB - Bee's Modellbahn topped up the amount by €7,000 in thanks for the extensive support provided by DFS and its members during the event.
After the donation presentation, all participants of the Christmas party were invited to take a ride on a historic DFS train. This consisted of the V36 235 locomotive, two Donnerbüchsen and a G-carriage with a heating generator. The journey led from Ebermannstadt station via Forchheim to the Christmas market at Nuremberg Central Station. Even Father Christmas was on board...
